StopScope terms of service

Effective October 22, 2026.

These terms cover the StopScope app for Android, StopScope Pro, and StopScope Dispatch at stopscope.com (together, “StopScope”). StopScope is run by Cajun App Factory (“we”, “us”). By using StopScope you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

Your account

You need an account to use StopScope. Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us at support@cajunappfactory.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you use StopScope for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

StopScope Pro

• Pro costs $7.99 per month (prices may vary by country and are shown in Google Play before you buy).
• New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and is charged automatically.
• Google Play bills and manages the subscription. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions). Pro stays on until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.

StopScope Dispatch

• Dispatch is a subscription for businesses: $50 per month or $450 per year base, which includes 2 drivers. Each extra driver is $5 per month or $45 per year. New companies get a 30-day free trial; a card is required, and billing starts when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
• Dispatch is billed through our payment processor, Stripe. It renews automatically until the owner cancels under Settings > Billing. Cancelling stops future renewals.
• The business is responsible for the drivers it adds, for having their consent to share location, route progress and delivery records with it, and for how it uses that information.

Acceptable use

Don't use StopScope to break the law or anyone's rights; to track a person without their knowledge and consent; to send spam or harmful code; to try to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours; to overload, reverse engineer or get around limits in the service; or to resell it without our written permission.

Driving safely and route accuracy

Routes, stop orders, times and distances are estimates based on map data that can be wrong or out of date. Always obey traffic laws, road signs and conditions. Don't handle your phone while driving; set up your route before you drive or when safely stopped. You are responsible for how you drive and for checking that a route is safe and legal.

Mileage figures

Mileage, odometer and fuel figures are estimates from your phone's GPS and the readings you enter. They can be missing or inaccurate. They are not tax, accounting or legal advice. Check them against your own records and ask a tax professional before relying on them.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you put into StopScope, such as addresses, notes, delivery photos, signatures and receipts. You give us a limited license to store, process, copy and display it only as needed to run StopScope for you (and, for Dispatch, for the business you drive for). You confirm you have the right to upload it, including any consent needed from the people in photos or who sign.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Ending your use

You can stop using StopScope and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or misuse the service, or if we stop offering StopScope. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as disclaimers and limits of liability) continue after termination.

No warranties

StopScope is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise StopScope will be uninterrupted, error-free or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Cajun App Factory is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising from your use of StopScope. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for StopScope in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you in the app or by email before a material change takes effect. Using StopScope after that means you accept the new terms.
